SUSTAINABILITY ISSUES,
___
In every market, there exists an intersection of competing issues concerned with sustainability,
the environment and economics.
The issues with which we are concerned are:
Sustainability issues:
> Ethics and responsibility
> Integration of jobs for disabled persons (6% of the workforce at the Moliens site)
> Equality between men and women
> Since 2001, the suppliers charter has included a commitment to social and ethical responsibility
> Sustainable development committee
Environmental issues :
> Smaller footprints created by our activities
> Control of organic dyes since 1999
> Packaging and inserts made from paper from sustainably managed forests (FSC and Imprim’Vert label)
> Carbon footprint (in conjunction with Climat Mundi and ADEME)
> Vehicle fleet < 120g of CO2
Economic issues :
> Enhance the reliability of forecasts, improve the service level, lower stocks and optimise logistics
> Sustain employment
> Increasing number of “fair trade” labelled products
> Development of partnerships with podiatrist organisations: UFSP, FNP [National Federation of Podiatrists], ANPS, AFD.
